This morning was the final swim in our Club Championship events with the 400m distance. Congratulations to everyone who participated and well done to Deb Jenkins and Gary Ballard on their wins!
In the 100m event we had the Garland 100m prize donated by Di and Rod Garland. This was awarded to the male and female swimmers who swam nearest to their times. Congratulations to Ian Bourke and Judith McInnerny!
In addition to the swimming events today, a lot of time, effort and focus was put into making up gathering solid evidence for who should be fined. All fines were for gold coins (instead of the usual 20 cents) with proceeds from the fine bucket to be donated to help the community of Tingha who have recently been devastated by bushfires.
