Donation of Fines Monies

The RSL Swim Club was pleased to be able to hand over our annual “Fine Monies” to the Sailability Charity group. This not for profit organisation provides sailing experiences for the disabled and is a great cause. It is run by volunteers.Ian Bourke(RSL President), Martin Tabone (Sailability), Steve Harper and John Hennessy are pictured at a presentation function at the RSL Club. Well one to our members who presented themselves for fines due to various transgressions throughout the year.

Winter Swimming Finally Starts

Today saw a successful start of the Winter Swim program with a large attendance of our hardy swimmers turning up for a swim in the ocean at Cronulla. Well done to our team and a great morning was enjoyed by all. Show-off of the day was Steve Murray who swam zero seconds off his nominated time. The picture shows the team entering the water.

Distinct lack of enthusiasm going in.
